Half Birthday, Donut Edition! 

As a Staten Island photographer specializing in capturing life’s precious moments, there’s something super sweet about a 6-month half birthday photoshoot. These milestone sessions are a celebration of growth, capturing the innocence and discovery in babies.

I recently had the pleasure of photographing a charming half birthday session where simplicity stole the show. Instead of elaborate setups, we opted for minimalistic props that perfectly complemented the baby’s stage of life. The focus was on capturing genuine expressions and milestones like sitting up or grabbing toes.

After some family portraits and adorable pics of the birthday girl, mom introduced some donuts then a little bath to splish splash around!  Watching the little one explore the texture and have fun in the water brought a smile to our faces.
